In collaboration with Le Perchoir group, we worked together on producing video mapping installations for their open-air bar brand, Le Perchoir de L'est, during their summer music party. The theme of the entire video mapping show was "Travel", and so we chose the journey of "Food". We invited the group's chefs to capture dynamic footage, contributing to the creation of this piece. The inspiration behind this project stems from the impact of the pandemic, which led to many chefs becoming unemployed and numerous restaurants closing down. What was once a vibrant scene of diverse international cuisines to enjoy in Paris suddenly turned bleak. In response, we invited chefs from different countries to help us evoke the sensation of traveling through food, aiming to show that even amidst the pandemic, these chefs continue to strive for their dreams, hoping this project adds more vitality to Paris during these challenging times.
